1. Who can use Goalee?
Short answer: Business users only – sorry, no personal emails allowed! Why? Because we’re designed for remote teams and companies, you’ll need to sign up with your work email (no Gmail, Yahoo, or private email domains). Think of it as your team’s exclusive clubhouse!
2. Can I try the app before buying?
Absolutely! Every new User gets two free games to test drive: one “goals” game and one “interests” game. Play, explore, and then if your company loves it, they’ll get a subscription so everyone can join the fun.
3. What’s with the subscriptions - how do they work?
Your company buys a subscription based on your email domain. When you sign up and verify your work email, you automatically get access to your company’s subscription tier features.
Three fun tiers offer different amounts of games per month:
- Tier 3: 10 goals games + 2 interests games
- Tier 2: 20 goals games + 5 interests games
- Tier 1: 30 goals games + 5 interests games, plus fancy photo editing!
And yes, you can upgrade your company’s subscription any time before expiry — more games, more seats, longer duration — your team’s choice!
4. What happens when a subscription ends?
No sweat! Your account and all your info stay safe and sound. When your company renews or starts a new subscription, just verify your email, and you’re back in the game with full access.
5. What’s up with these badges and points?
Earn points by answering quizzes about your teammates’ goals and interests – badges celebrate your smarts and teamwork! They’re just for fun inside your account and can’t be used for anything serious like job reviews or social ranking.
6. Are those cool images AI made? Can I use them?
Yep! Our AI tool creates fun images based on your profile and interests. You own these images and, with your employer’s okay, can even use them commercially. Just don’t remove the AI label – transparency is key, and it’s required by law (thank you, EU AI Act)!
7. Is my data safe?
Absolutely. We’re GDPR and CCPA/CPRA compliant, and our partners like Bubble, OpenAI, Payten, and PDF Generator API handle data under strict agreements. Check our Privacy Policy for all the legal goodness.
8. Can I use Goalee for personal stuff?
Nope – our service is purely for professional, company-related fun and team building.
9. What’s the deal with payments and refunds?
Payments are processed securely by Payten. Subscriptions are prepaid for fixed terms (30, 180, or 365 days). Refunds only happen for billing errors or where law requires it. No proration for cancelations, but you can upgrade anytime!
10. How do I keep my account safe?
Keep your login info to yourself and notify us immediately if anything looks fishy. Your account security is a team effort!
